The Sign Mirror is a new product designed by Peter Marigold exclusively for YCN. The project marks the latest in a series of collaborations between YCN and emerging creative practitioners across different disciplines.
The mirror is inspired by road signs, and Peter comments: “The Sign Mirror uses a simple form that we encounter every day with adjusted proportions to emphasise this relationship. Reinterpreted in a domestic environment it becomes something like a companion”.
The Sign Mirror comprises a mild steel frame - welded by traditional street sign fabricators, and completed with a high quality bevelled mirror and padded clips. It comes with an optional white sandbag and measures 330mm x 1500mm.
